Housing sales dip 4% annually in Jan-Mar in 8 cities on high prices, Iran war: Knight Frank
Mumbai: India’s office market saw record absorption of 29.9 million square feet in the first quarter of 2026, but the residential segment is seeing signs of a slowdown, with a 4 per cent decline in sales, real estate consultancy Knight Frank said in its report on Tuesday.

Delhi to Dehradun in 2.5 hours: New Expressway set to cut travel time from 6.5 hrs- launch date announced
Travelling between Delhi and Dehradun is about to get much faster and easier for many commuters. The journey which currently takes around 6.5 hours will soon be reduced to just 2.5 hours, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway on 14 April. Once the expressway becomes operational, it will also help in reducing the  traffic congestion in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi by easing congestion on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and other connecting roads.  Find out all the details related to Delhi-Dehradun Expressway here.

Adani Ports gets volume cushion
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd stock has fallen by about 9% to ₹1,381 since the West Asia conflict began on 28 February. The fall would have been steeper if not for the company’s business updates highlighting that it had clocked 11% year-on-year growth in cargo volumes to 46 million tonnes (MT) in March. Riding on the strong showing in March, FY26 volume growth came in at 11% to 501 MT, slightly lower than management’s guidance of 505-515 MT.
